On Oct. 1, 2012, a 27-year-old gym teacher in New York claims to have been beaten up by one of his first grade students. The man is fairly large, with a height of five-foot-ten and a weight of two hundred twenty pounds.
This former football player stated that a fifty pound, six year old boy had physically assaulted him. The teacher, Mr. Webster, was then sent into physical therapy with a fractured ankle and an injured knee. Now, Webster wears a brace on his right leg due to a mischievous, little boy who stands at a height of four-foot-two, by the name of Rodrigo Caprio. Webster explains how they boy “looks like an angel, but then, all of a sudden, that halo turns into horns. It’s been a nightmare. It’s embarrassing. It’s humiliating.”
However, this was not the only other time Rodrigo caused harm to the people at school. He was notoriously known to hurt others. As a first grader, he supposedly kicked the school principal and pinched the school’s security officer, along with a few other people. Webster recalled how he was attacked, and says that he was escorting his students to the cafeteria.
Trying to control the noisy group, Webster held onto Carpio’s wrist, until the boy began biting him. He was then taken to the principal’s office where the student kicked his teacher’s ankle. One of his kicks landed on his knee, and he felt a pop. Webster’s lawyer describes Rodrigo as a “tiny terror”, and he tries gain protection for teachers, against the people that can endanger them and their students.
Rodrigo’s parents are against this, and claims the lawsuit is “ridiculous.” His mother, Josefa Marcia, exclaims “This is a terrible thing to say (about) a child!”
