Falcon Christian Fellowship (FCF) is a club on campus at Crescenta Valley High School that meets every lunch in the choir room on Fridays, where students share their interest in Christian values. The club also works to promote fellowship within the school’s community.

According to Timothy Choi, the club welcomes anyone.

Choi told JSR, “we just really want people to know that we care regardless of socioeconomic class, gender, sexual orientation, and race. It’s a lot of fun!”

FCF contains a large variety of students that actively participate in the meetings for different purposes, whether it’s to build their faith, eat free pizza, hang with their friends, or find a quiet place to study. The room is always packed.

The club also invites speakers from local churches or volunteer students to hold testimonies or give motivational speeches to students, and service events are also coordinated in order to help the community. With the start of the new school year, club members worked hard to distribute gratitude cards to the much appreciated faculty and staff at their schools.

The Club struggles with finding ways to keep students actively participating, and works to spread word of the club around campus. Students share that the club provides a warm environment for people to get to know not just each other but also students from other districts that collaborate to promote fellowship. FCF is a means to create intimate relationships between students who share common values.
