In the Santa Clarita community, May has rolled in and June is just around the corner. Although spring was an abrupt season change, summer heat seems to have already taken over the whole community. The summer weather has brought many people to finally come out of their houses. Peaking to over ninety degrees, the summer heat has made the spring weather become very lively. Many people favor the new summer season with the sun always out and nature being as green as ever.

The summer season tends to inspires many people of all ages to get out of their houses and explore the bright world ahead of them. Many seniors may go out for walks and children go out to play in the park, there are a variety of things everyone can do. Such as visiting the new yogurt shop that recently opened up near the Santa Clarita plaza.

However, this summer heat is showing to never stay quite consistent. Over the weekends, the summer temperatures have dropped down to sixty degrees or even fifty. Many local forecasts has had many troubles with predicting the weather lately due to the frequent fluctuating changes. After many days of sun, the weather changes very abruptly with clouds and possibly rain over a short period of time.

Although many people may enjoy the nice, chilly weather, many people dislike the sudden changes in temperature. The chilly weather makes people’s attitudes more down and depressed compared to the bright sunny weather and sudden changes in temperatures are making people catch the common cold.

Once summer officially rolls around, many students will take advantage of the warm weather by going out with their friends more or going to the movies or swim at the local pools.  The Hart District official begins summer vacation when June arrives, so many students are already having summer fever and are excited to begin their two to three months of summer vacation, despite the fluctuating temperatures. Overall though, the early onset of summer weather has had an positive impact on many people and soon, leaving the May Gray behind, the Santa Clarita Valley will slowly rise to higher temperatures again.
