May 16, 2011—-From May 7 to 8, Seoul Friendship Fair 2011 is held at Seoul Plaza. This event has been held annually since 2009, with the theme of meeting, sharing and unity of the world.Over 150,000 people visited this fair last year and for this year it was estimated that more than 200,000 came.

At this event, performers from 10 countries performed their traditional dances and chants. Around the city hall of Seoul, there were booths where visitors could experience the unique cultures including the food and goods of each country. Aside of these booths, photo zones and a music cafe awaited tourists.

On the second day of this fair (May 8), Daedong Hanmadang (대동 한마당) which is the last performance of this event signaled the end of this event. All participants gathered and danced for the finale.
