Nick Vujicic: A Man Without Limbs

Posted on August 31, 2012 by Eunice Kim

This month has been the time of excitement for many Korean churches in Southern California; it was the time for a special guest to visit. The Milal Mission team, “a group dedicated to serve people with special needs through the sharing of the Gospel of Christ,” organized the special guest to visit the Korean churches and to change the hearts of many. The name of the special guest it Nick Vujicic, the man without limbs.

For years, Nick Vujicic has been visiting many different people around the worl to spread the words of God. Even though he doesn’t have arms and legs, he still has the courage to speak in front of hundreds of people and to help build confidence in every single person. “When my aunt first told me about this, I didn’t want to go,” said Jacob Kim, a freshman in Cypress High School. “Eventually I was forced to go. However, after I heard what Nick had to say, I was glad I went. I never regret not hanging out with my friends because what Nick Vujicic said, changed me a lot.” Jacob wasn’t the only person who had a emotional transformation after experiencing the visit from Nick Vujicic.

On Nick Vujicic’s site, many people have written stories about their transformed lives. “The people thank Nick Vujicic about reminding them what God has done for them,” said Minyoung Kim, a sophomore in Cypress High School. “Just by reading the stories online, I know how amazing Nick Vujicic is.” The main slogan that Nick Vujicic uses is “Life without Limits.” He inspires many people to just be thankful for what they have and to not limit themselves with something they don’t have.

Even though Nick’s visit to the churches is not often, experiencing his visit at least once can change the view of the world to many people. “I don’t think anyone would regret spending a weekend to go listen to Nick Vuijicic,” said Minyoung Kim. “Even though you’re not a Christian, the story of nick Vujicic is just amazing.” While being disabled, Nick Vujicic still meets different people and tells them how thankful he is that God made him like that. No matter what, he makes people smile and confident of whom they really are.

This was a very well-written article! I went to one of Vujicic’s visits myself when he was in Socal and I feel like I’ve learned so much in a short amount of time. You effectively wrote about the huge impact Vujicic had on others and I could sense through your article how much respect you had for him as well! 🙂

I agree with Jennifer! A well-written article, it truly showed the feelings and meanings behind Vujicic and his visits! Although I’ve attend one of his events myself, I learned things I did not know before through this article. Great, effective and detailed quotes contributed a lot to the deeper meaning. Keep it up! 🙂
