Thanks to all of you who have submitted your headshots and bylines. If you haven’t, please send them ASAP.
Remember to like JSR on Facebook. You’ll stay up-to-date with all of the articles we publish, and you’ll also get some suggestions from us for articles to read about current events and good journalism practices.
Have you been published, either online or in the paper? If so, you’ve probably noticed that there are many differences between the submitted versions of your articles and the versions that are published. Whenever you’re published, read your old version alongside the revised version that was printed — what changes were made? Why do you think we made them? Use your observations to become a better writer for the future.
You’re all doing very well! Remember to ask us any questions that you have.
