With communication becoming so instantaneous, the number of handwritten letters have decreased significantly. The act of letter writing has become somewhat obsolete as communication has become short as well. As a result some people are hoping that letter writing becomes more of a popular thing because it may be the solution to getting people to feel a little bit more about what they are writing.

Many young teenagers are concerned with who they truly and where to base their standards. It becomes very difficult in today’s society to truly know and understand one’s true identity. What is the most important thing? What truly defines who you are? People, especially teenagers should not feel so much pressure and be confident in what they have and can do without comparing it to others.

Opinion: Colleges Don’t Define Who You Are

With college admissions happening right now and many seniors paying their deposits as they commit to attend a particular school over another, this opinion piece highlights that it is important to not only think about the college you are committing to. The opinion states that colleges do not define who you are and the superficial need to go to a good college is overwhelming high school students that they cannot enjoy the present and it is changing who they truly are. In the end, college admissions results should not be the source of low or even high, self-esteem because no matter what, a person’s value will not change.
